When I was a little girl my parents read stories to me. The reason why they choose to do this was probably because they wanted me to guide me through lifelessons and things like what is wrong and right in life, share different dilemmas, hear about various places etc. Storytelling is a way of transmitting a message in an entertaining and memorable manner. Stories allow us to capture listeners’ attention, but they also make it more likely that they will remember what we are telling them. People have always gathered to share stories and will most likely continues to do so. I have choosen to work with all kinds of storytelling when it comes to Photography – no matter if it’s a private or corporate assignment and it is very fascinating.
I have been working as a Photographer professionally the last ten years. 18 years ago I moved with my family to Singapore and this was the kick-start of my Photographic journey. Since then photography has been my permanent companion. The journey has continued from Asia to Middle East via the US and Europe. The variation of assignment has been amazing and this is the reason why I love Photography as an instrument to capture stories around the world. I aim at doing it well and the most important is to capture the essence and feeling in those stories.
